RE: We know the time will come, but sure is hard when it does.

I had to put my best friend Jake down . It has been a year and a half and I still miss him so much. I am fighting back the tears as I type this. Even tho it is so hard, you did the proper thing. You will never get over it but you will finely accept it.
Bless you

RE: bubbles in roof

Mine had bubbles when we bought it new. The dealer said it was normal and after inspecting several other new and used roofs we found all had bubbles. The dealer said to ease our minds he took pictures of our roof to keep in our file just in case. That was 2 1/2 years ago and have not had any trouble to date.

RE: Best Tracfone to purchase

I have used tracfone for about 3 years and love it. My wife uses alltel and I have just as good coverage as her, even out of state. I recently bought a new V 370. It comes with double minuets for the life of the phone.

RE: New Tires?

CORRECTION. Provide the name of ANY tire manufacturer who 'recommends you change tires at 7 years. This age thing, completely blown out of proportion IMHO, was probably created by the same people who brainwashed many, many people
into the 3,000 mile oil change (regardless if manufacturer says 7,500).
Go to the website of the manufacturer who MADE your tires; most will give some
guidelines on aging. Michelin, for example, says RV tires should be checked at
five years and every year thereafter by a qualified tire technician. Then they
should be replaced at 10 YEARS.
In the tire business 40 years; seen it all and done most of it.

RE: New Tires?

Most manufactures recommend changing at about 7 years. Since yours are stored inside out of the elements I would say you have a lot of time left on them.

RE: gps for motorcycle & truck?

My lowrance iWay 500c came with both a car mount and a rail mount. The rail mount can be used both on a MC handlebar or a rail on a boat. It also is powered by a lighter plug or a power supply so you can use it on 110 V.

RE: gps for motorcycle & truck?

I use a Lorance 500c on my Harley Road Glide and also in my TV, works fine in each. It has a large screen and easy to see on the Harley.

RE: Check your Bottle Jack Rating

I use a 6 ton bottle jack from Wally World. I jack each wheel separately and can do so using one hand .

RE: Rubber exterior strip cover needed

I replaced mine using black rather than white so it would not show stains. In doing so I found out there are several size trims,so be sure to get the proper size. They also come with a flat finish and a glossy finish. The flat finish will stain and can't be cleaned. I got mine from the local dealer.

RE: Dometic Recall - NO LONGER REPLACING COOLING UNIT

The recall provides only a metal shield unless you have a crack that is leaking. I had mine done 3 or 4 months ago and I am still receiving notices from Dometic, about 4 in all.

RE: Propane Changeover

Sounds like you have a tight system that does not leak, which is good. After turning off the gas open a burner valve on the stove and let off the gas pressure. It should then turn red.

RE: Trouble stopping w/Prodigy and WD hitch

I think they say to pull the trailer 25 to 30 MPH and apply the brake control all the way. If the wheels lock up you need to back off on the setting if not increase the setting. When they lock up you should back off just a little so they don't lock. The 6.1 is just a starting point. If it is a new trailer the bucking might go away as the brake shoes seat. If not your drums might be out of round and you will need to have them turned.

RE: Foggy windows

Sounds like they are double pane insulated windows. If so all you can do is replace them. I have had to do that with the windows in my home.

RE: What is happening? Lights dim, elec problem?

If you can get to Wal-Mart you can buy an inexpensive battery charger and hook it up and leave it. Anyway,I think everyone needs to own a battery charger . Get at least a 15 amp. charger.
